Animal Services Alert: Dog Bite Incident on Walk Path

Loudoun County Animal Services is seeking the community's help in identifying a dog involved in a bite incident near our neighborhood.

On Wednesday, August 5th at approximately 5:30 PM, a German Shepherd type dog bit a person while being walked on a leash on the walk path between the Ashborough apartment complex and the Ashbrook Commons shopping plaza. The dog was being walked by a white female in her 50s with light brown hair.

If you have any information regarding this incident or know of an animal fitting this description, please contact Animal Services immediately.

Animal Services urges all residents to be careful around animals they do not know and to avoid any contact with such animals.
