Data Center Town Hall - July 6th

Dear Residents, Ashburn Village held a meeting regarding the proposed data center projects, which was only open to residents of their HOA. However, Ashbrook residents have the opportunity to attend a Town Hall on July 6th at the Loudoun County Government Center. Loudoun County residents will have priority seating and priority in asking questions. DATA CENTER TOWN HALL Monday, July 6th 7:00–9:30 PM Loudoun County Government Building Board Room 1 Harrison Street, Leesburg The B.F. Saul Company has announced plans to request approval to build two or three data centers and a power substation on the vacant property located at the intersections of Russell Branch Parkway, Ashburn Village Boulevard, and Route 7 (Leesburg Pike). These data centers and substation are not currently allowed and would require Special Exception (SPEX) approval from the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors (BOS). No SPEX application has been submitted to Loudoun County at this time. If BF Saul does move forward with submitting a SPEX application, it will undergo a months-long, if not years-long, review process involving analysis from several county departments including Transportation, Community Planning, and Natural Resources, followed by a Public Hearing before the Loudoun County Planning Commission and a final vote by the Board of Supervisors.
